    RE: Gideon Moon Lynch: William Lynch(b 1742) and Anne Moon Stone Lynch had several children. One was Nathaniel born 1790 in Pittsylvania Co., VA. He is buried in Lynch family cemetary in Pickens Co., SC. Will also in Pickens Co. Married Sarah Jane Lay. They had 14 children. One was Gideon Moon Lynch also buried in Lynch cemetary.
    RE: Banister Stone: I may need more information on this. I don't see where Banister Stone (b1777 d1844), son of Anne Moon Stone and Ashwell Stone, used the Lynch last name. Show he married Elizabeth Kilgore and had chilren Elizabeth, James, Maria, Jessee, Andrew and William Stone. In biographical dictionary said Stone represented Greenville in the House from 1818-1821 and then state Senate for many more years. His obit calls him the Honorable Banister Stone. He is buried in Simpsonville City Cemetary. Mother Anne's will calls him Banister Stone. Could you be looking at another son of Nathaniel? Nathaniel had a son named Banister Stone Lynch after his 1/2 brother. Banister Stone Lynch (b1833 d 1899) will is in Pickens. He was married to Frances and Elizabeth. Children that I know about are Sarah, Mary, Thomas, Malissa, Emma and Lillie.
