James Ross

James was born in 1851. James' father was James Ross and his mother was Sarah Mannion. His paternal grandparents were Chief John Kooweskoowe Ross (Ani'-Tsi'skwa = Bird Clan (Ghi-Goo-ie)) and Quatie (Elizabeth) Hare Hair victim Trail of Tears Brown (Cherokee). He had a brother and a sister, named Gilbert Russell and Susannah Coody. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 2 in 1853.
