John was born on January 1st, 1809 in Choctaw Nation, Mississippi.  John's father was William RIddle and his mother was Caty (Choctaw Okla Okla Apetat).  His maternal grandparents are Mingo of Burnt Corn Homastubee (Choctaw) and unk. He had two sisters named Mary and Susan.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died at the age of 54 on February 7th, 1863 in Choctaw Nation, IT.
