George was born in 1757 in Spotsylvania Co, VA.  George's father was Aaron Quesinberry and his mother was Joyce Gale (Gayle).  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Quesinberry and Carolinie Virginia Rawlins. He had two brothers named Moses and James.  He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother named Ambrose.
