Joshua Poythress

Joshua was born in 1784. Joshua's father was Capt William Poythress and his mother is Mary Gilliam. His paternal grandparents are Capt Joshua Poythress II and Mary Short; his maternal grandparents are John Gilliam and Jane cousin of Patrick Henry. He had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas Eppes, Patrick Henry and Nancy G D.
