James Willis Porter

James Willis was born on August 31st, 1857. James Willis' father was Joseph Chrisman Porter and his mother was Mary Ann Elizabeth Marshall. His paternal grandparents were James Porter and Rebecca Chrisman; his maternal grandparents were Sarah Whitelaw and Willis Marshall. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Joseph Ira, George William, Sara Rebecca, Mary Ann, Columbia Almyra and Margret Ella. He was the sixth oldest of the seven children.
