William Marshall

William was born in 1854 in Caroll Co., Virginia. William's father was Levi (does not fit with Granser) Marshall and his mother was Caroline Quesinberry (Ballard). His paternal grandparents were Simon Granser Grand Sir? Marshall and Sarah Reece; his maternal grandparents were John Ballard and Mary Polly Quesinberry. He had two brothers and four sisters, named General J, Granville, Mary Elizabeth, Martha A, Nancy Victoria and Charity Isaline.
