William Marshall

William was born on November 2nd, 1757 in Albemarle Co. , VA. William's father was Gilbert poss N Marshall II and his mother was Martha Roan ROANOKE??? Rowan. His paternal grandparents were Sir Gilbert Marshall Sr and Lady Catherine Fitzpatrick; his maternal grandparents were William Rowan and Jane Marshall. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named John, Gilbert died: 1782 - Battle of Blue Lick, James Isaac, Jane "Jeanie", Mary, Catherine, Martha, Hannah, Elizabeth, Margaret and Sarah. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 68 on January 27th, 1826 in TN.
