Thomas the Venerable of Cross Creek Marshall

Thomas the Venerable of Cross Creek was born on November 25th, 1799. Thomas the Venerable of Cross Creek's father was William Both are buried in the Cross Creek Cemetery Marshall and his mother was Ann Both are buried in the Cross Creek Cemetery Crawford. His paternal grandparents were William Marshall and Mary Speer; his maternal grandparents were Thomas taken by indians Crawford and Judith. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Crawford "insane", William, Stewart C, Elizabeth, Judith, Mary Polly "idiot", Margaret, Ann Jones, Ruth, Louisa and Barbara Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 90 on October 30th, 1890 in Cross Creek Tp, Washington Co., PA.
