Simon Marshall

Simon was born on August 24th, 1834. Simon's father was James Lamborn Marshall and his mother was Mariah Maria Gillingham. His paternal grandparents were Moses maybe JR Marshall Sr and Lydia Lamborn; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Gillingham and Frances Fannie Milner. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Albert Gillingham, John G, Franklin, George L, ELEANOR (ELLEN), Mahlon and Nancy. He was the sixth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 21 in 1855.

General Notes
- Probably the first death in the town was that of Simon Marshall, who died in the summer of 1855. On the 25th of December, 1855, his mother, Mrs. James Marshall, died. They were both buried on section 9.
