Matthew (Tandy) Marshall Jr

Matthew (Tandy) was born in 1808. Matthew (Tandy)'s father was Matthew Marshall Sr and his mother was Elizabeth (Betsey) Jones. His paternal grandparents were Martin Marshall and Eleanor Boswell. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Garrett, Thomas, Richard, Levi W, Nancy, Elizabeth and Mary (Polly). He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 74 in 1882.

General Notes
- In 1850 (Stokes Co., NC) Elizabeth Jones Marshall, aged 66, is living with Matthew Marshall, Jr. who was born about 1808. Also listed with this family is Nancy Marshall (1818) and Polly Marshall (1828). A child Rebecca Marshall, born 1846 is also listed. It is not known if Rebecca is the daughter of Matthew (Tandy) Marshall, Jr. or one of his sisters.
