Joseph Davis Marshall

Joseph Davis was born on May 13th, 1791 in Albemarle Co. , VA. Joseph Davis' father was Martin Marshall and his mother was Eleanor Boswell. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Marshall III and Margaret Wells; his maternal grandparents were Matthew Boswell and <Unknown>. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Riley, Matthew, Martin Wells, Elias, Richard, Nancy, Elizabeth, Verlinda Elizabeth and Mary A. He was the seventh oldest of the ten children. He had three half-brothers named William, William (James) and unknown. He died at the age of 68 on December 23rd, 1859 in Caroll Co., Virginia.
