John William Marshall

John William was born on October 6th, 1848. John William's father was Col William Henry Marshall and his mother was Mariah Vance. His paternal grandparents were William Marshall and Mary Connally Connerly; his maternal grandparents were John Vance and Lucretia Whicker. He had a brother and two sisters, named James Matteson (Matt) MATSON, MATISON or MADISON, , Sarah Greene Sallie and Elizabeth Ann (Eliza). He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 72 on February 12th, 1921.
