John Wesley was born on September 5th, 1843 in Greene Co., MO.  John Wesley's father was John different DNA Marshall and his mother was Elizabeth Potter.  His paternal grandparents were Indian man (metis) and Sarah family listed here is family lore Marshall; his maternal grandparents were William S Potter and Ruth Mackey. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Elias M, William Jasper, James Newton, SarahAnna, Ruthy Jane and Martha Emeline.  He was the youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 61 on November 13th, 1904 in Tacoma Washington.
