John Carson Marshall

John Carson was born on January 3rd, 1806 in Sumner Co, TN. John Carson's father was Robert Marshall and his mother was Sarah Dobbins. His paternal grandparents were Robert Marshall and Christian Moore; his maternal grandparents were Alexander Dobbins and Mary Carson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Alexander Dobbins, Robert Foster, Finis Lafayette, Isabella W, Ann, Mary and Matilda Caroline. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 40 on October 8th, 1846 in Wilson County, TN.
