George was born on November 15th, 1829 in Covey Hill, county.  George's father was George Immigrant?? Marshall and his mother was Maria Gray.  His paternal grandparents were William Marshall and Jane. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Robert Newton, John Wesley, <Unknown>, <Unknown>, <Unknown>, <Unknown>, <Unknown>, <Unknown>, <Unknown>, <Unknown> and <Unknown>.  He died at the age of 77 on February 25th, 1907 in Eagle Center, Black Hawk, Iowa.
