Esther was born on February 19th, 1811 in Cross Creek Tp, Washington, PA.  Esther's father was Robert Cross Creek Marshall and her mother was Elinor Hayes.  Her paternal grandparents were James Of Drumore  Marshall and Jean Gene Jane poss Lenape Del???; her maternal grandparents were Pvt Thomas Hayes and <Unknown>. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, William, Samuel, John Hamilton, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth, Jane and Nancy.  She was the youngest of the ten children.  She died in Hickory, Mt. Pleasant Tp, Washington, PA.  She was buried in Mt. Prospect Cem, Hickory, PA.
