Charles was born on June 30th, 1835 in Brush Creek, near Irondale, Ohio.  Charles' father was John Lamborn Marshall and his mother was ELIZABETH (BETSY) Gillingham.  His paternal grandparents were Moses maybe JR Marshall Sr and Lydia Lamborn; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Gillingham and Frances Fannie Milner. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named James, Thomas, Moses, Joseph, Samuel, Harvey Harve Ohio to Wisconsin, John J, Lydia, Frances  Fanny and Hannah Mariah.  He was the youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 69 on December 17th, 1904 in Forest Twp. Richland Co., WI.
