Patty's father was Willam Lowrey (Croatoan) and her mother was Betty Bettie Locklaer meaning “hold fast” Locklear (Cherokee prob).  Her paternal grandparents were James Lowrie interpreter Lowrey (Croatoan) III and Sarah Sally Kearsy Kearsey (Tuscarora 1/2); her maternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>. She had three brothers named George, Alfred and Allen.
