William's father was Thomas Love (Chickasaw) and his mother was Ho-Ma-Ho-Ta "Mahota" Emahota Incunnomar (half white).  His paternal grandparents were William "English Bill" CONFLICT Love and Native lady ???. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin, Robert Howard, Samuel, Nancy Ma Ho Ta, Lucina Lucinda and Sally. He had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Henry, Henry W, Benjamin, Isaac, Sloan Slone, Thomas, Elizabeth Betsy and Delilah 'Liley' (Delilie).  He died about 1851.
