Henry Overton Sobe was born on September 6th, 1823. Henry Overton Sobe's father was Col Henry W Love and his mother was Sarah 'Sally' Ann Moore. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Love (Chickasaw) and Sally Emahota Incunnomar "Chickasaw" Colbert (Chickasaw); his maternal grandparents were John Moore and white wife. He had a brother named Littleton Henderson Hence. He was the older of the two children.
