Ambrose mullato mixed something Lewis

Ambrose was born about 1758. Ambrose's father was John Lewis and his mother was mullato mixed native and or black white woman indentured servant. His paternal grandparents were Zachary Lewis and <Unknown>. He had a brother named Charles. He was the younger of the two children. He died about 1833.

  Another chronicle is of the Lewis brothers, Charles and Ambrose, who were also Mulattoes. They were the sons of a white man, John Lewis, and a Mulatto woman. Charles and Ambrose began serving Indentures, which were cut short by the Revolutionary War. The brothers signed on to the war in Fredericksburg Virginia, as Seamen, and then as Soldiers.
