John Gilbert Hunter

John Gilbert was born in 1826 in Davidson Co. TN. John Gilbert's father was Isaac F Hunter and his mother was Mary Marshall. His paternal grandparents were David Hunter and Sarah Horn; his maternal grandparents were James Isaac Marshall Sr and Margaret Wilson. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Gilbert Marshall, James Marshall, son, Mary Adeline, Margaret Jane and Elizabeth Ann. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William Robert, Joseph Love, Isaac Christopher, Nancy C and Laura Watson.
