Jane Goin (Gowing Gowen)

Jane was born in 1803 in Madison Co., KY. Jane's father was Pvt Joseph Goin and her mother was Judith Pollard. Her paternal grandparents were William McGoin Gowan Gowing Gowen Going Goen Goan Goin (Lumbee) and Anester Honesty Anastascia Sullivan; her maternal grandparents were Francis Pollard and Elizabeth Betty Phelps. She had a brother and two sisters, named John, Nancy and Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the four children. She died at the age of 60 on February 28th, 1863.
