James Goad

James was born in 1759 in Kanawha County Virginia. James' father was Abraham Pittsylvania Abe Goad Jr and his mother was Anne Joanna Wheatley?? Ayers. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Goad and Katherine Williams. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Robert, William, Hannah and Elizabeth Berry. He was the fourth oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 91 in 1850.
