Abraham was born about 1665 in Old Rappahannock County, Virginia.  Abraham's father was John from Barbadoes Goad and his mother was Ann Bennett.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Goad (Gourd) and Phoebe Hewes Haw Haws Hughes. He had a brother and two sisters, named Joseph, Frances and Elizabeth.  He died on April 11th, 1734 in North Farnham Parrish, Richmond Co., Virginia.
