Gilbert De Clare

Gilbert was born in 1291. Gilbert's father is Gilbert the Red 9th Earl of Clare, 7th Earl of Hertford, and 3rd Earl of Cloucester De Clare and his mother was Joan D'Acre Plantagenet. His maternal grandparents are King Edward Longshanks Plantagenet I and Princess Eleanor De Castille. He has two sisters named Margaret and Eleanor. He is the oldest of the three children.
