Henry was born on March 5th, 1133 in Le Mans, Anjou.  Henry's father was Geoffrey the Fair Comte De Anjou and Maine Plantagenet V and his mother was MATILDA "the Empress" of Normandy (Queen of England) Normandy.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 56 on July 6th, 1189 in Chinon Castle, France.
