Col Joseph Cresap

Joseph was born in 1755. Joseph's father was Daniel Cresap and his mother was Ruth Van T1 mtDNA line Swearingen. His paternal grandparents were Thomas came in 1710 Cresap and Hannah Johnson; his maternal grandparents were Van "Maryland Van" Swearingen and Elizabeth Walker. He had two brothers named Daniel and Capt. He had a half-brother named Michael. He died at the age of 72 in 1827.
