John Vance Crawford

John Vance was born on December 27th, 1744 in Berkeley or Frederick Co. Virginia. John Vance's father was Col William H surveyor killed by indians Crawford and his mother was Hannah Vance. His paternal grandparents were Valentine William 1 Crawford Sr and Honora Grimes; his maternal grandparents were James Vance and <Unknown>. He had five sisters named Ann, Ann, Sarah, Orphelia Effie and Nancy. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 71 on September 22nd, 1816 in Iron Ridge, Ohio.
