Ann Crawford

Ann was born in 1743 in Berkeley or Frederick Co. Virginia. Ann's father was Col William H surveyor killed by indians Crawford and her mother was Hannah Vance. Her paternal grandparents were Valentine William 1 Crawford Sr and Honora Grimes; her maternal grandparents were James Vance and <Unknown>. She had a brother and four sisters, named John Vance, Ann, Sarah, Orphelia Effie and Nancy. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 40 in 1783.
