James Marshall Cloyd

James Marshall was born on May 4th, 1808. James Marshall's father was David Cloyd and his mother was Sarah Marshall. His paternal grandparents were John Bartholomew Cloyd and Margaret Scott; his maternal grandparents were Gilbert poss N Marshall II and Martha Roan ROANOKE??? Rowan. He had four brothers and a sister, named Gilbert Marshall, Ezekiel, William Preston, Elizabeth Eliza Jane and Margaret Scott. He was the fourth oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 31 on June 12th, 1839.
