James Wesley was born about 1826.  James Wesley's father was Braxton Carter and his mother was Mary Furlong.  His paternal grandparents were Fleming Carter and Sarah; his maternal grandparents were Robert Furlong and Mary Lee. He had two sisters named Sallie and Mary Ann Margaret.  He died on October 5th, 1856 in Bedford Co., Virginia.
