Braxton was born about 1799.  Braxton's father was Fleming Carter and his mother was Sarah.  His paternal grandparents were John Carter and Mary Fleming. He had a brother named LittleBerry.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died on June 10th, 1888 in Bedford Co., Virginia.
