James Madison Carter

James Madison was born about 1820. James Madison's father was LittleBerry Carter and his mother was Nancy Stinnett. His paternal grandparents were Fleming Carter and Sarah; his maternal grandparents were William Stinnett and Nancy Carter. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Jefferson Peter, William Stinnett, Allen, George W, Charles Lilburne, Elizabeth, Polly, Sara A Sally, Phebe A, Pleasant and Martha. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died on April 8th, 1865 in Amelia, Prince Edward, VA.
