Edward Carter

Edward was born on April 9th, 1671. Edward's father was Capt Thomas Carter Sr and his mother was Katherine Dale. His paternal grandparents are Maj. Thomas Carter (Ancient Planter) and poss Miles; his maternal grandparents were Maj. Edward Dale and Lady Diana Skipwith. He had three brothers named Thomas, John and Henry Skipwith. He is the oldest of the four children.
