Sarah Carr

Sarah was born about 1736 in Spotsylvania Co, VA. Sarah's father was Capt William Carr Gent and her mother was Elizabeth poss Winston. Her paternal grandfather was William Carr and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Chiles; her maternal grandparents were James William Winston and Barbara Overton. She had a brother and three sisters, named William, Susannah, Ann Winston and Mary. She was the fourth oldest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Walter Chiles, Thomas Dabney and Mary.
