Ann Winston Carr

Ann Winston was born on April 4th, 1735 in Spotsylvania Co, VA. Ann Winston's father was Capt William Carr Gent and her mother was Elizabeth poss Winston. Her paternal grandfather was William Carr and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Chiles; her maternal grandparents were James William Winston and Barbara Overton. She had a brother and three sisters, named William, Susannah, Sarah and Mary. She was the third oldest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Walter Chiles, Thomas Dabney and Mary. She died at the age of 103 on January 25th, 1839 in Henry Co., Virginia. She was buried in Marshall Field Family Cemetery, Martinsville, Henry Co., VA, USA.
