Deacon Stephen Burr

Stephen was born about 1687 in Fairfield, Fairfield Co., Connecticut. Stephen's father was Daniel Burr and his mother was Elizabeth Pinkney. His paternal grandparents were Jehu Burr and Esther Ward; his maternal grandparents were Philip Pinkney and Jane (poss native). He had six brothers and three sisters, named Peter, Philip, David, David, Moses, Aaron Daniel, Elizabeth, Jane and Esther. He was the oldest of the ten children. He had a half-brother named Jehu. He died on October 1st, 1778 in Redding, Fairfield Co., Connecticut.
