Samuel Brashears

Samuel was born in June 1792 in Choctaw Nation, Mississippi. Samuel's father is Samuel Brashears and his mother is Rachel Durante (Creek). His paternal grandfather was Jesse Brashears and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Prather; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Peter Durante and Sophia McGillivray (Creek). He had a brother and a sister, named Alexander and Rachel. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 48 in 1840 in Yowani Choctaw Community, Republic of Texas.
