Robert Branscom

Robert was born on January 27th, 1840 in VA. Robert's father was Harbert Byrd Bird Branscom and his mother was Nancy Dalton. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Branscom and Nancy Jones; his maternal grandparents were Lewis Dalton and Frances Frankey Phillips. He had three brothers and a sister, named Franklin, Isaac, Ballard Preston and Mary. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died as a war casualty, Civil War, after February 1862.
