Shichiro was born on March 8th, 1890 in Fukushima, Japan.  Shichiro's father was Iuemon VIII Watanabe and his mother was Nao Sato.  His paternal grandfather is Iuemon VII Yoshinao Watanabe. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Isami, Isuke, Iku and Kina.  He died at the age of 75 on May 15th, 1965 in Honolulu, Hawaii (Nuuanu Memorial Park).



Shichiro's first family with Tei Motoi

‌Shichiro and Tei were married in a religious ceremony in 1909 in Higashiyama, Fukushima, Japan.  They had three sons named Sadao, Tetsui and Saburo.



Shichiro's second family with Carolyn Tamaki Shindo

They had a son named Douglas Dan.
