From 1986 his occupation was Desktop Publishing Support full time in media for CBM Computer Center (privately owned chain), in Lexington, Kentucky.  He quit in 1991.
From 1991 to 1994 his occupation was Videographer/Editor full time in media for Post Time Video, in Lexington, Kentucky.
From 1994 his occupation was Executive Director full time for International Bluegrass Music Museum, in Owensboro, Kentucky.  He was fired in 1996.
