She had two brothers and seven sisters, named Dalton Haywood, Richard, Emma Theo, Helen, Ruby Mae, Vera, Ruby May, Hattie and Gladys. She had three half-sisters named OMIE Lee, Helen and Ruby May. She died at the age of 76 on December 10th, 1970 in Benton County, Mississippi, USA.-
