Her paternal grandparents were WILLIAM P "Bill" Box and MARY Jane Thompson; her maternal grandparents were HENRY Petty Bumpas and DICIE Ann Floyd. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named Dalton Haywood, Richard, OMIE Lee, Helen, Ruby Mae, Vera, Ruby May, Hattie and Gladys. She had three half-sisters named OMIE Lee, Helen and Ruby May. She died at the age of 59 on December 5th, 1950.-
