Lucille "Lucy" was born on March 15th, 1765 in Louisa or Hanover co, Va. Lucille "Lucy"'s father was Thomas Saunders and her mother was Elizabeth Rice. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Saunders and Elizabeth Miles; her maternal grandparents were David Rice Sr. and Susannah Searcy. She had four brothers and three sisters, named David, James R., Thomas M., Julius S., Susannah, Elizabeth and Frances Miles. She died at the age of 82 on December 25th, 1847 in Montgomery, Elberton Co, Georgia. She was buried in Montgomery, Elberton Co, Georgia.-
