Fredesende was born in 0999 in Rouen, Seine-Inferieure, Normandy, France.1 Fredesende's father was 4th Duke of Normandy Richard (The Good) Normandy II and her mother was Judith of Brittany. Her paternal grandparents were Duke of Normandy Richard (San Peur, The Fearless) Normandy I and Gonnor de Crepon; her maternal grandparents were Duke Conan (The Crooked, Le Tort) of Brittany I and Ermengard of Anjou. She had three brothers and eight sisters, named Richard, The Magnificent, William, Aelis, Helen, Judith, Stephanie, Felicia, Hedwige, Eleanor and Helena. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Guillaume, Mauger, Nicholas, William, Dapla and Papia. She died at the age of 58 in 1057 in Hauteville, Manche, Normandy, France.1 -
