Margrave Otto (der Reiche) of Meissen 
Otto, known as der Reiche, was born in 1125 in Meissen, Dresden, Saxony.1 Der Reiche's father was Margrave Konrad (Der Grosse) of Meissen and Lower Lusatia and his mother was Countess Luitgard of Swabia. His paternal grandparents were Count Thimo of Wettin and Princess Ida of Bavaria; his maternal grandparents were Albrecht von Ravensburg and Berthe of Austria. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Dietrich, Hermann, Heinrich, Der Fieste, Friedrich, Oda, Bertha, Gertrude, Adela, Sofie and Agnes. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 65 on February 18th, 1190.1 -
