Count Poppo of Henneberg II 
Poppo was born in 1074 in Lichtenburg, Sachsen-Meiningen, Thuringia.1 Poppo's father was Count Poppo of Henneberg I and his mother was Princess Hildegard of Thuringia. His paternal grandparents were Count Otto of Grabfeld and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Count Ludwig (mit Dem Barte) of Thuringia and Countess Cacilie of Sangerhausen. He had two brothers named Gotwald and Godebert. He was the youngest of the three children.-
