Ermengarde of Beaumont 
Ermengarde was born in 1170 in Beaumont-leVicomte, Maine, France.1 Ermengarde's father was Richard de Beaumont I and her mother was Lucie de l'Aigle. Her paternal grandparents were Viscount Roceline de Beaumont and Constance of England; her maternal grandparents were Richard de l'Aigle II and Beatrix. She had a brother and a sister, named Raoul and Constance. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 64 on February 12th, 1234 in Fife, Scotland. Ermengarde de Beaumont was Queen Consort of the Kingdom of Scotland.
Ermengarde was born circa 1170 to Richard I, Viscount de Beaumont and his wife Lucie, daughter of Richard II de l'Aigle. Through her father, she was the great granddaughter of Henry I of England.
She married William I of Scotland at Woodstock Palace on 5 September 1186. They had four children.
She died on 12 February 1233/1234, and was buried at Balmerino Abbey, Fife.
